James Morrison Dillon, better known as J.J. Dillon, is a retired professional wrestler and wrestling manager. He was born on June 26, 1942, in Trenton, New Jersey. Dillon began his wrestling career in the 1960s and worked for various promotions including the American Wrestling Association (AWA) and World Championship Wrestling (WCW).
Dillon is best known for his time in the National Wrestling Alliance (NWA) and its successor, World Championship Wrestling (WCW), where he served as the manager for the legendary stable, The Four Horsemen. Dillon played a key role in the success of the group and helped to elevate the careers of Ric Flair, Arn Anderson, Tully Blanchard, and Barry Windham, among others.
In addition to his work as a manager, Dillon also held various backstage roles in wrestling, including working as a booker and producer for WCW. After retiring from active competition in the ring, Dillon worked as a road agent and talent coordinator for WCW before eventually leaving the wrestling business in the late 1990s.
Dillon was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2012 for his contributions to the wrestling industry as both a performer and behind-the-scenes figure. Today, he remains active in the wrestling community and makes occasional appearances at autograph signings and conventions.
